Two Egerton university students arrested in connection with Facebook post threatening attack on the university


Two students of Egerton University Titus Ngare Nyagah and Alex Wachira were arrested for using a fake Facebook account to post an alarmist message.

The two were picked up late last night but say they did it for fun.

“We are not joking and if you think we are wait for us. Garissa is nothing compared to what will happen in Egerton university. Allah is to be worship. wecl spies and have maps of whole egerton” they posted under the name Robert Mohamed Bluez.

The post caused panic and confusion among students and members of staff.
