Majority Leader Aden Duale has been a fierce defender of the Jubilee administration.

Garissa Township Member of Parliament and National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has once again lashed out at Opposition Chief Raila Odinga saying he was looking for ‘Nusu Mkate’.

Duale, speaking at Mombasa’s Tononoka grounds on Sunday accused Raila of scheming to form a coalition government with Jubilee Party after next year’s general election.

He accused opposition Chief Raila Odinga of plotting a well-designed plan to discredit the 2017 polls.

“The opposition chief intrigues to cause chaos that will lead to his inclusion to a coalition government with Jubilee just like 2007 elections,” said Duale.

Duale however warned Raila over the move and told him to stay honest in his pursuit for a credible election and stop plots that are bound to fail.

He further accused Raila of plans to destabilize the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ahead of the 2017 polls so that he benefits from a Grand Coalition deal.

“Jubilee administration is aware of his plans and we would like to tell him that his plans are destined to fail,” said Duale.

Duale’s past remarks on similar allegations have been dismissed by the opposition Chief Raila Odinga who maintained that his party was determined to form the next government.
