One Injured in Grenade attack in Garissa town

By Farah Adan

A man sustained slight injuries after assailants attacked a group of people walking by the roadside with a hand grenade near KENGEN power station in Garissa town this evening.

The 8pm attack comes barely a week after Al-Shabaab carried out a deadly raid on a Nairobi bound bus in Mandera killing 28 civilians on the spot.

Two police officers were also attacked yesterday in Dagahley refugee camp by armed gunmen who killed one and injured the other.
