President Obama’s Chef (in suit) poses with his Kenyan colleague at State house, Nairobi, on Saturday.

Following the warm reception received by US President Barack Obama when he arrived in Kenya on Friday night, his chef has came out strongly saying he wished to receive a similar reception one day when he traces his Kenyan roots.

President Kenyatta’s Director of digital communication Mr. Dennis Itumbi disclosed the chef’s request for help in tracing his Kenyan roots.

In a post on his Facebook page, Itumbi says that the chef told him that he was from Kenya and will come back to trace his Kenyan roots.

“I am from Kenya, I will be back to trace my roots, The President is among the lucky few who know where they come from” said the chef.

“Help me trace my family here in Kenya, I will be back to walk the journey and hug them as we chat like I saw the President do yesterday” he added enviously.

Itumbi asked Kenyans to help the man who feeds the World’s most powerful man to retrace his roots.
