Kuweit to release 700M for upgrading Wajir county referral hospital

The government of Kuwait is set to release a financial aid of Kshs 700M meant for upgrading Wajir county referral hospital.

Speaking after he met Kuwait ambassador to Kenya, Wajir governor Ahmed Abdullahi said that the envoy assured him that the funds will be available before the end of this month.

“Ambassador Qusay R. Al-Farhan assured me that the program is still on course and before the end of this month the funds will be released officially” said Mr. Abdullahi.

He added that the gulf state has also pledged to help his government in other sectors including water and livestock production.
